Many Guns is chair of the Indigenous Studies Department at the University of Lethbridge and is a great believer in using symbolism from First Nation's culture to teach and tell stories. She will walk attendees through the guiding principles for decision making, info re tipis and medicine wheels and answer questions those present are curious about. Featuring a 2k run/walk or 5k run event for all ages. Everyone is encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero, with free capes given to the first 700 entries. Entry fee: $20 per person and includes a post-race snack bag. Prizes awarded to the top male and female finisher in each race, as well as top finishers in each age category, the best-dressed superhero and the best-dressed superhero family. All proceeds from the race go to the Lakeview playground project. Paper registrati­ons will be accepted until 4 p.m. on race day. • Revellers Dinner and Games Night
