Discourage use of illegal drugs
I believe that the federal government, wanting to legalize cannabis (marijuana) in the near future, is making a big mistake. By legalizing cannabis, I think this country is doing the opposite of what they should be doing.
We should be discouraging the use of any drugs in this country!
In this city, we don’t have a needle problem, we have a very serious drug problem. Everybody is worried about discarded needles harming innocent people, kids included. The drug pushers in the country, in this province and in this city need to be stopped. Let’s all do something about it now.
When we have a disaster of epic proportions, we all seem to get together in a common cause and donate money for those in need. We have a humongous drug problem, which is bigger than any disaster, fire or catastrophe.
Let’s all get together and stop this drug problem once and for all. Let’s start taking back our city, making it free from illegal drugs.
Maybe it is time to consider bringing back the death penalty for major crimes. Let trafficking or selling drugs be considered a major crime. If a drug dealer is convicted of the crime, he should be executed. An example should be made of him.
How do so many illegal drugs get into this country? Governments are doing their best to stop this but it is obviously not working.
In my opinion, if someone wants to take drugs and gets hooked on them, I feel sorry for them. They are weak. Possibly they got hooked by taking a prescription pain killer given by a doctor. I am sorry this happened. These pain killers should not so easily be handed out.
If people decide to try drugs on their own and get hooked, let the “balance of nature” govern their outcome. If they die because of taking drugs, so be it. The “survival of the fittest” governs their fate.
What we need in this country right now is a discouragement of the use of illegal drugs. Right now, our federal government wants to encourage citizens to take drugs by legalizing non-medicinal cannabis.
We should be discouraging the use of any drugs in this country. We need to declare war on drugs and drug pushers and we need to have one common objective, to win that war.
