- LETHBRIDGE HERALD

Dylan Borman clubbed a pair of three-run home runs to power the visiting Lethbridge Bulls to an 8-6 victory over the Okotoks Dawgs in Western Major Baseball League play Tuesday night.

Borman broke a 1-1 tie with a three-run shot in the fourth inning, then rallied the Bulls in a four-run eighth that erased a 5-4 deficit.

Borman finished two-for-four with six RBI.

Kaleb Warden had three hits and scored twice for Lethbridge, while Jesse Hilyard also had two hits including an RBI double to bring Lethbridge even in the fourth inning.

After Borman’s first home run, Riley Baasch answered with an RBI single for Okotoks in the bottom of the inning, and William Hollis added another in the fifth that tied the game 4-4.

Hollis finished three-for-four for the Dawgs while Baasch and Collin Ridout both had two hits.

Lethbridge trailed 5-4 entering the eighth inning. Warden knotted things with an RBI single that scored Hank Forrest, then Borman went deep for the second time.

Jaden Griffin worked six innings for the Bulls, allowing four runs — three earned — on seven hits while striking out 10. Kale Penner worked the seventh and Talon Derrick tossed the final two innings.
