• A public panel discussion, “Thinking Globally, Thinking Nationally,” will be held Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Lethbridge Public Library (Main Branch), with a focus on issues including trade, climate change, borders, and refugees/asylum seekers. Organized by the Prentice Institute for Global Population and Economy and Southern Alberta Council on Public Affairs.

All games are designed for children ages 2-10 years, including Bouncy Castle, photo booth, face painting, roving gym, crafting table, tattoos, games and more.
• Create a beautiful Shadow Box Frame, instructed by Joanne Vadnais of Julie Pike, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. at the Barons Community Hall. Participants will handcraft a Christmas-themed shadow box; choose from three colour scheme - red and green, black and gold or blue and silver (indicate colour choice when registering, and also either a black or white shadow box).
