The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns men’s and women’s basketball teams kicked off their Canada West season with home sweeps.

The Pronghorns women’s team downed the MacEwan Griffins 69-50 Saturday night at the 1st Choice Savings Centre, while the Horns men outlasted the Griffins 96-79 for 2-0 starts for both teams.
