• The City of Lethbridge will hold an open mic session at the Nov. 5 Finance Committee meeting, from 4-5 p.m. at City Hall (main floor, Council Chambers) where Lethbridge residents will have the opportunit­y to provide comments or make brief presentati­ons to city council members regarding the draft 2019-2022 Operating Budget. Written submission­s are also encouraged and can be submitted in advance by emailing cityclerk@lethbridge.ca or delivering them to the Office of the City Clerk at City Hall, second floor, 910 4 Ave. S. Submission­s will also be accepted during the meeting.

• Free outdoor fit camp, for all ages

and all abilities, runs Mondays,

Wednesdays and Fridays at two locations in the city. A 9:15 a.m. session will be held at the playground on Stafford Drive North, and a 6 p.m. session will be held at Adams Park at 13 Street and 9 Avenue North. Call 403393-5590 for more informatio­n.

• Swing Bridge Dance Club meets Mondays from 7:30-9:30 p.m. (cancelled on holiday Mondays) at Eagles Hall, 631 13 St., featuring East Coast Swing dance lessons each week; $3 donation. Associatio­n’s board will present its new, three-year strategic plan, report on highlights from its past year and hold its annual election for its board of directors at its annual general meeting Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. at city hall. A short presentati­on will be made on the Property Assessed Clean Energy program (PACE) for home owners interested in securing financing for solar, insulation and heating/cooling efficiency upgrades.
