Dante is one year old and looking for his purrfect home. He was abandoned by his owners and left outside to fend for himself. Dante is sweet, playful and would do fine with another cat. Call Linda (403-3819269) or Sam (403-3820977) of Purrfect Endings Rescue for more information about this adorable guy. We have many permanent residents who require special medical care and/or special food. Recently, a few of our cats required dentals. Our bill at Green Acres Animal Hospital is huge. We desperately need help to pay it down. No amount is too small. Donations can be made directly to Green Acres (403-327-8660) or through etransfer at sixfurballz@telus.net. Please help us to continue helping those with no choice and no voice.

Pixie is a sweet little live-wire. She’s always on the go, running and playing. Pixie loves to play with the other kittens in the kitten room, but she also plays happily by herself with the toys. She presently doesn’t have much time to snuggle, she has places to go and toys to play with! Pixie was born in December 2016, and came to the Humane Society with her mother and brother in the spring 2017. Pixie is looking for a fun family to call her very own. If you are interested in meeting Pixie, you can visit her at the Lethbridge Humane Society (2920 16 Ave. N. or call 403-320-8991). To view other Haven pets, go to www.lethbridgehumanesociety.com and click on the Available Pets link. Also check out the Lethbridge and District Humane Society on Facebook.

Cassie and Mindy are hoping you will stop by Centre Village Mall today (Saturday) between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to visit us and buy some treats for your cats or yourself for that matter, to support our rescue. We have a Craft and Information table at Centre Village Mall the third Saturday of the month where you can meet volunteers and get information about cats that are available for adoption. We will have cat grass, nip sticks and other handmade items to enhance the happiness of your cat(s). You can also read more information about us by visiting www.thelastchancecatranch.com or www.facebook.com/lastchancecatranch. We have many wonderful cats waiting for their forever homes. Thank you to everyone who supports our rescue efforts. Enjoy the weekend!

Cubby has his eye on a permanent home and a loving family: he lost the other eye to a condition called anterior uveitis. You don’t have to remember the name; Cubby’s already forgotten it. This one-yearold black-and-white boy-cat is looking to the future. He is a sweet-tempered and loving little guy, watching for any opportunity to tell you how much he loves you — even if he’s just met you! See how he reaches up to hug you with both arms? Getting to know other cats is no problem for Cubby: he is fun, active and goodnatured, and would make a wonderful sibling for another cat, especially one who likes to play. Cubby enjoys doing things, and when he’s not, he’s observing you doing things. It doesn’t matter what, he just wants to be close by — very close by. Look out! He’s following you into the washroom… Learn more about Cubby by calling PAW at 403-328-6700 or sending an inquiry at pawsociety.com. Cubby has his eye on — you!

Josie is a seven-month-old mixedbreed girl that was found as a stray with her sister Dolly. She is a fun, happy girl who is a bit shy at first but with a bit of time and reassurance she is your best friend. She loves going to the dog park, playing with her foster sister and cuddling on the couch. Josie would do best in an active home with another dog or two to play with, older kids and someone who is willing to keep working with her to build confidence. Visit www.windycityrescue.com or call 403-359-3139 for more information.
