• The first-ever Pet Valu Virtual
Walk for Dog Guides will take place May 31 in a physically distant manner. You are encouraged to show support for Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides by going for a walk, lifting weights, dancing in your living room, running on your treadmill, or anything physically active, all while practising physical distancing. Every dollar raised through the event will support Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides in assisting Canadians with a medical or physical disability by providing them dog guides at no cost. • Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre will recognize Seniors Week with several virtual events in keeping with COVID19 precautions. The schedule includes:
June 3, 12:30 1:30 p.m. Nord-Bridge Jammers Live Garage Entertainment through the Zoom video platform;
June 5, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., $10 Liver and Onions, drive-by or delivery (pre-order only by calling 403-329-3222 no later than June 4); June 5, Paint Nite via Zoom at 6 p.m. for $40 including supplies dropped off at your doorstep. You will be able to hear and see the art instructor in order to paint your own masterpiece! Register by

the “virtual programs” tab. • The Mountain Bluebird Trails Conservation Society invites you to its annual Trail Orientation Day June 6 to see an active nest box trail in operation here in Lethbridge. It's free! We will gather at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre at 9 a.m., drive to a westside farm and wrap up by noon. Participation will be limited to 15 people.
