organization. The successful candidate will network and cultivate relationships with local health-care professionals, disability and seniors’ organizations, and community members. They will distribute promotional material, schedule presentations, and seek out direct-to-client advertising opportunities throughout the city. The ability to work independently is essential. Southern Alberta Self - Help Association (SASHA) is a nonprofit community organization whose mission is to promote the independence of persons with mental illness by means of transitional and long-term housing through supportive programs and activities. SASHA is looking for volunteers to help provide much-needed socialization for individuals living in group homes who are struggling with mental health or addiction that are experiencing negative mental health effects of isolation. CEDAR CREEK ADAPTACARE – VOLUNTEERS TO UPLIFT SENIORS
Cedar Creek Adaptacare provides seniors with a specialized nursing and personal care living facility. They are looking for volunteers who would be interested in lifting the spirits of their resident seniors by dropping off or mailing letters, cards and postcards to their centre.

The Southern Alberta Art Gallery (SAAG) fosters the work of contemporary artists who challenge boundaries, encourages broad public engagement, and promotes awareness and exploration of artistic expression. They are looking for volunteers who would be interested in
occasional bartending. Volunteers assist with setting up snack areas, serving at the bar, and cleaning up after the event.
