• Coaldale United Church Thrift Shop (2022 18 St.) has reopened and is open each Thursday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Our space has been re-arranged to support social distancing. Sanitizing hands is required, and wearing a mask (or other mouth and nose cover) is strongly recommended. Number of adult shoppers limited to 15 at one time. The only children allowed will be those in carriers or strollers. Cash only.

• LSCO Curbside Pick-Up Lunch will be offered June 25, featuring fried chicken, hashbrown casserole, veggies and bun, cookies for dessert; cost

$10. Scheduled pick-up time between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. at northeast door of LSCO (closest to the Administration Office), 500 11 St. S. Must pre-order by calling 403-3202222. Payment with Visa or Mastercard at time of order. Debit, Visa or Mastercard at pick-up preferred. Cash accepted if necessary.

• Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre, 1904 13 Ave. N., will celebrate Canada Day with a Veal Cutlet Drive-By Luncheon

June 26 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Pickup or delivery meal for $10 (with mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies and dessert). Pre-order only by calling 403-3293222 no later than June 25. Limited delivery spots available.

• Community Garage Sale & BBQ will take place June 27 from 10 a.m.– 3 p.m. at the Italian Canadian Club, 1511 Saint Edward Blvd. N. Lots of housewares and other treasures. Social distancing and safety measures in place. Rent a table, $10. Donations accepted. Sausage on a bun $4.
