• Tom Price and band perform every Saturday (weather permitting) from about 5-7 p.m. on Tom’s driveway at 6 Notre Dame Road W. Everyone is invited to bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music.

• Mindful Moments is offered every Saturday (except long weekends) from 11 a.m.-noon at Martha Retreat Centre, 1130 Scenic Drive S., featuring a drop-in session based in Mindfulnes­s teachings that combines a short talk with formal group meditation in silence. No experience is necessary. Facilitato­r: Cheryl Dick. Freewill offering accepted. Official income tax receipts are available upon request.

• Lethbridge Arts Days returns Sept. 24-27 with a lineup featuring virtual, outdoors and some indoor events to celebrate the arts. Events include On the Street: Performers in the Downtown Sept. 25-27; Gallery Stroll Sept. 26, featuring live poetry reads, music and artist-guided tours of downtown galleries (details available via social media); and Art Walk Sept. 25-26,a self-guided, walking tour of arts venues, exhibition­s, demonstrat­ions and public art throughout downtown Lethbridge and beyond. Pick up a program and map at the AAC office and begin your walk. Collect 9 stamps as part of the Stamp & Stomp and be entered to win an original piece of art.

• The Canadian Fall Festival, a Celebratio­n for Internatio­nals, will be held Friday, Sept. 25 from 5:15-7 p.m. in the parking lot at the Evangelica­l Free Church, 4717 24 Ave. S. Come for a free live concert, games, pumpkin decorating, and poutine tasting from a food truck. Bring your own lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on for this covid safe event. • Local author Donna Clewes will be selling her inspiring memoir “Safe Behind the Little Waterfall” and her inspiratio­nal self-help book “The Meaning We Make of Our Lives”

• Coyote Flats Pioneer Village will host its annual Tractor Pull Sept. 26 from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. (weather permitting) at the western heritage museum located 1.5 km south of Picture Butte on the east side of Hwy. 843. $20 entry fee for competitor­s; donations from spectators welcome. • The Oldman Watershed Council’s 15th anniversar­y 2020 annual general meeting will be held Sept. 29 from 14:30 p.m. via Zoom. The meeting will feature presentati­ons about the OWC’s 2019-20 projects, including Headwaters Education and Restoratio­n Project, Indigenous Partnershi­ps, Youth Education Programs, Watershed Legacy Program and more. • Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organizati­on will mark National Seniors Day Oct. 1 with a Drive-Up Lunch Special at LSCO, featuring a Chicken Cordon Bleu dinner and dessert for $10. Scheduled pickup time between 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at northeast door of LSCO (closest to the Administra­tion Office), 500 11 St. S. • Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre will host a Drive-By Luncheon of Liver and Onions (pre-order only) for $10 in honor of National Seniors Day, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Pre-order by calling 403-329-3222.

• Italian Canadian Club’s next “Pick Up An Italian Fridays” event will take place Oct. 2 between 4 and 6 p.m. at 1511 St. Edward Blvd. N. Drive-thru curbside pickup. Pre-pay by Wednesday, Sept. 30. Cost: $16. Menu includes braised Italian beef roast barolo with gremolata and gravy; olive oi-roasted potatoes and herbs; broccoli and cauliflowe­r with rich cheese sauce, and Yorkshire pudding. • Helen Schuler Nature Centre will host a Food Forest Workshop Oct. 3-4 from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. presented by Mandy Sandbach of SOULfully SOIL. Dive into the world of food forestry and permacultu­re. Learn how to create long-standing, abundant, perennial food systems right at home. Edible Forest Gardening designs can be adapted for small and large scales. Cost $180. Ages 16+.
