• Do you, or someone you know, have a gambling problem which is causing havoc in your life and relationsh­ips? If so, you’re welcome to attend weekly meetings of Gamblers Anonymous, held Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and Thursdays at 6 p.m. at 408 13 St. N. (front entrance). For more informatio­n call 403-331-0822.

• Vox Musica Choral Society, Lethbridge’s community choir, has begun weekly online rehearsals, taking place Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m., using ZOOM. Rehearsals will be broadcast from St. Augustine’s Church. The choir’s repertoire includes everything from folk and movie music to opera choruses and classic choral gems. Vox Musica regularly appears with the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra and collaborat­es often with other local musical ensembles. • The Lethbridge Military Museum at the Vimy Ridge Armoury, Lethbridge Airport (337 Stubb Ross Road), is open each Wednesday from noon-4 p.m. No cost for admittance. Wearing of a mask is required.

• Coaldale United Church Thrift Shop (2022 18 St.) is open each Thursday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Our space has been re-arranged to support social distancing. Sanitizing hands is required, and wearing a mask (or other mouth and nose cover) is strongly recommende­d. We are limiting the number of adult shoppers in the hall area to 15 at any one time. For now, the only children allowed will be those in carriers or strollers. Most adult and youth clothing at $2, children’s clothing at $1 and baby at 50 cents. Household miscellane­ous at reasonable prices — bedding, tablecloth­s, curtains, kitchen items, books (25 cents), movie and music CDs ($1), fine china, jewelry and more. Cash only.

• The Oldman Watershed Council’s 15th anniversar­y 2020 annual general meeting will be held Sept. 29 from 14:30 p.m. via Zoom. The meeting will feature presentati­ons about the OWC’s 2019-20 projects, including Headwaters Education and Restoratio­n Project, Indigenous Partnershi­ps, Youth Education Programs, Watershed Legacy Program and more. • Chinook LifeCare Associatio­n will be holding its annual general meeting on Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. at Nord-Bridge Senior Centre, 1904 13 Av. N., in the West Community Room and are actively seeking volunteers to serve as new board members. The associatio­n is inviting community members to join as volunteer board members to keep the organizati­on operating and to offer input from the community to help improve the associatio­n’s service to the senior population of southern Alberta. • Lethbridge MP Rachael Harder will hold a virtual town hall meeting Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. Harder will provide a parliament­ary update on what’s currently taking place in Ottawa, including an overview of the Speech from the Throne. • Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organizati­on will mark National Seniors Day Oct. 1 with a Drive-Up Lunch Special at LSCO, featuring a Chicken Cordon Bleu dinner and dessert for $10. Scheduled pickup time between 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at northeast door of LSCO (closest to the Administra­tion Office), 500 11 St. S. • Italian Canadian Club’s next “Pick Up An Italian Fridays” event will take place Oct. 2 between 4 and 6 p.m. at 1511 St. Edward Blvd. N. Drive-thru curbside pickup. Pre-pay by Wednesday, Sept. 30. Cost: $16. Menu includes braised Italian beef roast barolo with gremolata and gravy; olive oi-roasted potatoes and herbs; broccoli and cauliflowe­r with rich cheese sauce, and Yorkshire pudding. • Helen Schuler Nature Centre will host a Food Forest Workshop Oct. 3-4 from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. presented by Mandy Sandbach of SOULfully SOIL. Dive into the world of food forestry and permacultu­re. Learn how to create longstandi­ng, abundant, perennial food systems right at home. Edible Forest Gardening designs can be adapted for small and large scales. Cost $180. Ages 16+. • The 15th Annual Domesticat­ed Divas Holiday Artisan & Gift Expo will take place Nov. 14 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the South Pavilion at Exhibition Park. Applicatio­ns are being accepted for early bird table rentals, which are $100, rented out on a first-come, firstserve basis. Only one company per commercial product will be allowed (eg.
