The Blood Tribe Police Service and the family of Jason Many Fingers is asking for the public’s help to locate the 46-year-old Many Fingers.

On October 1 Many Fingers was reported missing by his family, who said there had not been any communication with him since Sept. 20. Utilizing the Missing Person’s Act, BTPS has discovered there has not been any cellphone or banking activity since Sept. 20 when at 3:45 p.m. he was recorded on video surveillance, fuelling his father’s truck at the Fas Gas in Pincher Creek.

Many Fingers was last seen wearing black sweatpants, grey shirt, dark grey hooded zip-up, black and white runners and a dark-coloured baseball hat. He is six feet tall and 175 pounds. He was driving his father’s 2005 white GMC Sierra extended cab truck with Alberta licence plate CFN-2131. The truck has black plastic coverings over the wheel wells.

BTPS is asking residents and businesses in Pincher Creek to advise police if they have information, or are in possession of any video surveillance from the afternoon of Sept. 20 that may assist in determining a direction of travel.

The community has created an independent Reward Fund to encourage anyone with information about this matter, to contact the BTPS at 403-737-3800 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers, and if you provide information that leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward.
