• Oasis Day will be held at the Martha Retreat Centre Nov. 26, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Gratitude means to celebrate, to be in contact with the Divine. • Martha Retreat Centre offers Personal Prayer. Anyone wishing space for quiet personal prayer is invited to come to the centre Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9 a.m.–4 p.m. and Fridays 9 a.m.–noon. • Coaldale United Church Thrift Shop (2022 18 St.) has reopened and is open each Thursday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Our space has been re-arranged to support social distancing. Sanitizing hands is required, and wearing a mask (or other mouth and nose cover) is strongly recommende­d. We are limiting the number of adult shoppers in the hall area to 15 at any one time. For now, the only children allowed will be those in carriers or strollers. Cash only.

• Barons United Church Thrift Shop, at 113 Main St., Barons, is open Thursdays from 12:30-4:30 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Check out the great deals. Because of the shop’s small size, wearing a mask is mandatory. Clean, gently used donations are greatly appreciate­d. Call 403-7572229 or 403-330-6274 to make arrangemen­ts or drop in when open.

• The MCC Thrift Shop, located at 1117 2 Ave. “A” N., supports poverty reduction projects around the world through Mennonite Central Committee.
