MATCHING PETS WITH PEOPLE

-

Hi! It’s us again, Oleo and Bisto! We talked at you before but now we is much older: two months now! I’m Oleo, grey ‘n’ white; Bisto, is black ‘n’ white – but there’s no mistakin’ we’re broffurs. We’re always doin’ things t’gether. We play an’ play an’ play! We chase each other all over; we found this cool tunnel an’ we race through it like we was lightnin’! An’ we rassle! We love rasslin’ – you’d think we was killin’ each other, but it’s all in fun. An’ then we eat. We love eatin’ — the soft stuff, an’ th’ crunchies. An’ we use th’ grown-up litter-box already! Truth! Then maybe we get tired; playin’ all day can do that. An’ that’s when we look our cutest. We nap t’gether, curled up one ‘round th’other. An’ we like our human, too. When we see him we start purrin’. (I purr louder ‘n Bisto…). Sometimes we curl up on him an’ sleep. Sometimes we play with him for as long he wants — or can! Oh, he wants t’write somethin'… Thanks, Oleo. These little ones are typical kittens, energetic, loveable, daring and intelligent. They’ll go for their first vet visit soon, but we can tell they are healthy and ready for a lifetime with some lucky person. To learn more about them, call PAW at 403-328-6700 or go online at

pawsociety.com. Now’s the moment to start a lifetime with Oleo and Bisto.

Kravitz came to the Humane Society with his siblings in March 2016. He's a tiny bit shy, but settles in after a short time. He likes toys and exploring, but he’s content to stretch out and relax too. He’s a handsome boy and will enjoy lots of attention in his forever home! If you are interested in meeting Kravitz, you can visit him at the Lethbridge Humane Society (2920 16 Ave. N. or call 403-320-8991). To view other Haven pets, go to

These sisters are five months old and are homeless. Shaughnessey has a lot of homeless cats and nobody to help them. We cannot help them without help from our supporters. We also need a foster home for them. Our 50/50 raffle finishes on Dec. 14. We also have new cat bags for sale on our Facebook page. Thank you to everyone who supports what we do.

Nelson is approximately 10 years old. He came to us from Coaldale suffering from a horrendous, chemicaltype wound on his neck. As a result, his head bobs and his balance is sometimes unstable. He has had entropion surgery on both eyes and one eye required surgery four times. Occasionally he requires eye medication. Nelson is a very sweet boy. He gets along well with most cats but would do fine as an only pet. Unfortunately, we recently found out that despite having a dental in 2019, Nelson is in great need of another one. Donations are gratefully accepted and no amount is too small. Thank you so much to those individuals who have donated to bring our bill at Green Acres Animal Hospital down to $4,400. Call Linda (403-381-9269) or Sam (403-382-0977) of Purrfect Endings Rescue for more information about Nelson. We are also on Facebook.
