• Lethbridge Public Library is seeking artwork for the Kids’ Art Show Gala.

What does it mean to IMAGINE? Artists 12 years old and under can enter to win our prize draw by creating a work of art based on this year’s theme “Imagine” and submitting it for display at the Kids’ Art Show Gala to be held in December. Art can be submitted throughout the month of November on our website, lethlib.ca, or at the Children’s Services Desk at the Main Branch.

• Lethbridge Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous meets Mondays and Wednesdays. Details: Josephine, 587425-3232.

• Lethbridge Sport Council’s Roving Gyms program operates Mondays from 9:30-11 a.m. at Servus Sports Centre and from 6-7:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, offering free, inclusive play spaces for children five and under and their parents or caregivers. • Barons United Church Thrift Shop ,at 113 Main St., Barons, is open, with opening days depending on health guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mondays Nov. 16-Dec. 28,

• Mindful Moments is offered every Saturday (except long weekends) from 11 a.m.-noon at Martha Retreat Centre, 1130 Scenic Drive S., featuring a drop-in session based in Mindfulnes­s teachings that combines a short talk with formal group meditation in silence. • Bold ‘n Brave, a local organizati­on that inspires youth to be confident and learn life skills, is hosting a free family-friendly scavenger hunt from Nov. 20-30. Register to get your first clue and details on how to get your name entered for prizes. Register online at boldnbrave.ca.

• Christmas at Casa Holiday Market is operating online this year, running from Nov. 20-Dec. 1 at the

Christmasa­tCasa.ca website, featuring more than 40 vendors offering handmade fine art and fine crafts. Depending on the vendor, there are options for local dropoff, shipping and safe curbside pick-up at AAC Works on 7 Street S.

• Lethbridge Public Library offers Holiday Crafting in December, continuing

until Dec. 24. Visit the Crossings Branch during the holiday season where kids can pick up a holiday craft pack. There will be four different packs with one being released each week. Each pack will contain supplies to make a fun holiday craft at home. Craft packs will also be available through Curbside Pickup. Supplies are limited.

• Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre presents

• Farming Smarter Conference and Trade Show will be held Dec. 2-3 at Lethbridge Exhibition Park, providing an opportunit­y for farmers to do a little networking, learn some things to prepare for 2021 and check out products from local suppliers. • Lethbridge Public Library’s The Word On The Street Fall Reading Series continues Dec. 10, featuring New York Times bestsellin­g author Shari Lapena. • Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organizati­on will hold a Turkey Dinner Special Curbside Pickup Lunch Dec. 11.

• Martha Retreat Centre offers Exploring Forgivenes­s: One Day Silent Retreat Dec. 12, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Facilitato­r: Hailey Pinksen. Cost: $65 (lunch included). This one-day silent retreat explores forgivenes­s through meditation. We will explore forgivenes­s from the perspectiv­e of lovingkind­ness and curiosity while embracing the stillness of the moment.
