Do you see that face? The one with the white stripe down the nose? That’s a face looking into a bright future. That’s the face of Douglas Furbanks. This black and white cat, six years old, knows he’s just right for a human. He is in a fine foster-home now, but he’s being bullied by another cat. His people do their best to prevent it but even then, Douglas feels he must be vigilant, always on his guard against intimidation. Despite such limitations to his world, he has shown himself to be a gentle cat, very friendly with humans and ready to be loved. He knows that in a different environment, perhaps as an only-cat, he wouldn’t have to look over his shoulder, wouldn’t have to worry about who’s waiting for him around a corner. He believes he would grow into a strong, robust, happy fellow. Do you see that face? It’s the face of an optimist who knows happiness is out there for him. To learn more about Douglas, call PAW at 403-3286700 or send an inquiry at pawsociety.com. Douglas looks on the bright side of things. Douglas is looking for you.

Halo was found by some caring people on the side of the road by Milk River.

Aretha is a beautiful little girl who is very timid and keeps to herself. She loves toys though, and plays when no one is looking!

If you are interested in meeting Aretha, you can see her at the Lethbridge Humane Society (2920 - 16 Avenue N. or call 403-320-8991).
