City Easter weekend service level changes

The City of Lethbridge has announced service changes for the Easter weekend. They are in effect from Friday to Monday.

• Lethbridge 311

The Lethbridge 311 contact centre and in-person at City Hall will be closed Good Friday and Easter Monday. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, April 2 from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

For urgent issues, a 24-hr trouble line is available by calling 311.

A 24/7 self-service site is also available at 311. lethbridge.ca to help with your questions.

• Submit a service request

City Hall will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

• Waste and Recycling

The Waste and Recycling Centre will be closed on Good Friday and open normal hours on Easter Monday. Summer hours of 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. take effect April 1.

Good Friday curbside waste collection will be moved to Saturday.

• Pools & Arenas

• Community Animal Services

Community Animal Services and the Lethbridge Animal Shelter will be closed on Good Friday and Saturday, March 30. The shelter will be open normal hours (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.) on Easter Monday.

The public can access services on the website at any time including dog license payments, appointment booking, online complaint reporting and searching a list of found pets impounded at the shelter. For emergency animal control matters, call 403-320-4099.

• Transit Service

Ride on Demand and Fixed Route transit schedules will run on Sunday service on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

• Access-A-Ride

Access-A-Ride booking and customer service will also run on Sunday service both days.

• Galt Museum & Archives/Fort Whoop-Up

The Galt Museum will be open from 1 – 5 p.m. on Good Friday and closed on Easter Sunday. The museum is closed every Monday.

Fort Whoop-Up is closed for the season and will reopen on June 6.

• Helen Schuler Nature Centre

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre will be closed on both Good Friday and Easter Monday. The centre is open extended hours (11 a.m. – 4 p.m.) on Saturday and Sunday.

• Lethbridge Public Library

All branches of the Lethbridge Public Library will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
