• Lethbridge Sport Council is hosting a free Safe Sport session with keynote presentati­on Allison Forsyth, a leader in ground-breaking education and awareness on the Canadian safe sport landscape and a two-time Olympian and eight-time National Champion in alpine skiing. • Shaughness­y Community Associatio­n is hosting their monthly Pancake Breakfast (cost $5.00) from 8 AM until 11 AM today at the Shaughness­y Community Hall 133-3Rd Street. Secondhand Treasures rooms will be open during Pancake Breakfast

• Barons United Church Thrift Shop stop in and check out the great buys and newly added items at 113 Main St. Open Saturdays 10 - 2 & Thursdays 12:30 - 4:30. Clean, Gently used donations are greatly appreciate­d & can be dropped off during open hours.

• Martha Retreat Centre hosts numerous events throughout the month, including Mass, prayer sessions, meditation, presentati­ons and workshops. See martharetr­eatcentre.ca for more info.

• Henderson Lake Parkrun invites community members to participat­e in a free, weekly, computer-timed and recorded 5km walk, jog or run. Our Parkrun is one of about 2100 Parkruns held around the world. Dogs on leashes and kids in strollers are welcome too. The Henderson Lake Parkrun starts at the Kinsmen Picnic Shelter at 9 a.m. every Saturday. Complete the simple registrati­on (once in your life) at Parkrun.ca.

• Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre Monday Jam Sessions are back each week from 9:30-noon. Open to all. Non members pay $3.00 per person.

• Ss Peter & Paul Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church welcomes everyone to Divine Liturgy Sundays at 10 a.m. The church is located on the corner of 12B Street and 7 Avenue North. We celebrate the Divine Liturgy in both Ukrainian and English, as well as many Ukrainian cultural traditions both spirituall­y and socially.
