Enforce border rules

-

I am an immigrant and a veteran. I watched on CTV News as RCMP officers loaded migrants suitcases into their Ford Escape, I think, and drove these migrants to the border crossing. I respectfully suggest they should have sent them back immediately to the U.S. Border Patrol.

This sort of migration undermines the acceptance of real immigrants. Apparently many fleeing the U.S. have been to many countries. They may be shopping for best welfare systems, etc. The U.S. has a problem created by not enforcing their own rules and letting so many into the country, mostly under Democratic governments and supported by American industry as cheap labour. Our current system is admitting far more migrants than we can safely adjust to. Canadians do not have an endless supply of goodwill or money.

Close the refugee claim loophole, as presented by MP Michelle Rempel. Enforce the border rules by sending them back immediately so others get the message. If you think Canadians do not want that, then transfer all CBSA and RCMP officers currently on borders to other jobs in cities or at seaports and airports and open the border to all from the U.S., regardless of how they got to there. We could re-allocate the saved money to preventing crime, securing seaports and airports. The second option is the honest one if you're not going to enforce the rules.

I know of well educated people in many places wanting to come here but they wait and wait as our system is overwhelmed by false refugees.
