Keep your grass green, despite the dog
We are so happy to have an organic product that will help fertilize and prevent the doggie pee stains, and if you do an application of Dog Prevent in spring, summer and fall you will be happy with the results.
Organic Dog Prevent is derived from feather meal, bone meal, calcium sulphate, kelp and potash. Your lawn prefers a ph range of 6.8 to 7.8 depending where you are and soil typically has a ph of 7.3 to 7.8. Your lawn cannot tolerate the dramatic increase in ph in a concentrated area from dog urine, which typically has a ph of 8 or higher.
Dog Prevent works for your lawn in two ways.
One – Dog Prevent reduces the overall ph of your soil to approximately 7 so that the impact of the higher ph urine has much less of an impact to your lawn. Two – Dog Prevent also absorbs urine on impact and will then slowly introduce it to your soil, further reducing its ability to increase the ph of your soil.
In order to lower and maintain the ph of your soil, apply Dog Prevent three times a year for best results in the spring, summer and fall. Dog Prevent is a great way to go green!
