Dallas Smith, BNL book November shows in Medicine Hat

Dallas Smith and Barenaked Ladies have added their names to November’s Medicine Hat concert schedule.

Smith will perform at the Canalta Centre on Nov. 9, while Barenaked Ladies will be at the Esplanade on Nov. 21.

Smith’s Side Effects Tour announcement comes as the Canadian country star celebrates his fourth No. 1 single “Sky Stays This Blue” from his 2016 album “Side Effects.”

Lauren Alaina and Michael Ray will join Smith in Medicine Hat.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. show start at $35 plus service charges and go on sale at 10 a.m. on Sept. 8. Tickets will be available at www.ticketmaster.ca, by phone at 1855-985-5000 or at the Canalta Centre box office.

Smith briefly performed in Medicine Hat last December aboard the CP Holiday Train and at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede in 2015.

Barenaked Ladies will release “Fake Nudes,” the band’s 15th studio album, just four days before the Medicine Hat show.

Tickets for the Barenaked Ladies show, at 8 p.m. also go on sale Friday and will be available at www.tixx.ca, by calling 403-502-8777 or in person at the Esplanade box office or the Medicine Hat Mall customer service desk. Tickets start at $74.45 plus service charge and GST.
