OHL, QMJHL finals tied 2-2

HAMILTON Noah Carroll has turned the Ontario Hockey League final into a best-of-three.

Carroll scored at 9:13 of overtime as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds edged the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-2 on Wednesday to even the series at two wins apiece.

Matthew Villalta turned away 45 shots for Sault Ste. Marie, including 10 in the extra period. Boris Katchouk and Jack Kopacka scored in regulation for the Greyhounds.

Nicholas Caamano and Riley Stillman found the back of the net for the Bulldogs, who got 28 saves from Kaden Fulcher.

Armada tie series

BATHURST, N.B. The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada are returning home for Game 5 of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League final even at two game apiece with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

Drake Batherson scored twice as Blainville-Boisbriand downed Acadie-Bathurst 5-1 on Wednesday in Game 4 of the best-ofseven final.

Broncos win in OT

EVERETT, Wash. Glenn Gawdin supplied all the offence the Swift Current Broncos needed to take Game 3 of the Western Hockey League final.

Gawdin had a hat trick as Swift Current downed the Everett Silvertips 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday for a 2-1 series lead.

Gawdin tied the game 2-2 at 16:43 of the third period, then scored the winner 2:40 into extra time.

The Silvertips hosted Game 4 on Wednesday, which wasn’t over by press time.
