In the premiere, “Frontline, Part 1,” Shaun treats a patient with an illness that not only is unpredictable but also unlike anything he or anyone else on the hospital team ever has seen before. On the home front, Lea (Paige Spara) and Shaun find their new relationship tested by the global pandemic.

Devastated to discover that his soulmate is dead, big-hearted Kurt (Charlie Heaton) soon finds faith and opportunity in the arms of The Church of Righteous Transition, in a new episode called “Break on Through.” This fellowship is an organization that promises to help those, like Kurt, whose soulmates have passed on, leaving their spiritual partners at a loss to move on.
L.A.’s Finest 9 p.m. on
The crusade to win justice for the murdered trans victim and her fiancé continues in the new episode “... My Lovely.” Elsewhere, both Syd and McKenna (Gabrielle Union, Jessica Alba) become more hopelessly tangled in their own personal dramas, as it becomes increasingly impossible for them to continue concealing the truth about their pasts. John Salley, Barry Sloane and Tamala Jones guest star; Duane Martin and Zach Gilford also star.
Filthy Rich 10 p.m. on
Determined to bring down the men of 18:22, Ginger (Melia Kreiling) tries to use the tape of her kidnapping with Luke (guest star Cranston Johnson) as leverage in the new episode “Hebrews 9:15.” Meanwhile, Eric (Corey Cott) receives a mysterious gift from a friend nearby that reveals even more corruption behind the missions, while Rose (Aubrey Dollar) visits the “real” Jason (Mark L. Young) in the hospital after he comes out of his coma.
