Adapted from true-crime stories by writer Ann Rule, this 2020 docudrama chronicles how flight attendant Kate Jewell (Elisabeth Rohm) quickly finds herself swept into a passionate affair with Paul Carter (Antonio Cupo) shortly after they meet. It’s not long before she discovers that Paul is subject to fits of jealous rage, however, and they culminate in a physical attack. Fearing for her life, Kate goes into hiding and tries to help police bring Paul to justice. Leslie Hendrix, Alison Araya and Mike Dopud also star.

The new episode “Smokin’ Hot BBQ” finds host Guy Fieri diving into all kinds of ’cue, including a Texas-style spot in Richmond, Va. Otherwise, however, he ventures far from the barbecue capitals of the American South. In Ottawa, Canada, for example, he visits a funky chicken joint cranking the rotisserie for its long line of happy customers, while in Burlington, Vt., a restaurant is noted for its smoked wings.

Boasting a distinctive title spelling, writer-director Quentin Tarantino’s revision of a 1978 war adventure casts Brad Pitt as the leader of a Jewish-American military unit that targets Nazi officers in particularly brutal ways. In the course of carrying out their self-styled vengeance, they cross paths with a teen (Melanie Laurent) whose operation of a movie theater provides the means for her to achieve her own aims while helping Pitt’s character.
