Here is a partial list of what’s open and closed this Canada Day: Banks are closed on Tuesday. Federal and provincial government offices, including immigratio­n and unemployme­nt centres, are closed Tuesday.

The municipal court at 775 Gosford St. is closed Tuesday. For more informatio­n, call 514-872-2964.

Most city of Montreal offices will be closed Tuesday, including borough offices and Accèss-Montréal’s offices. Go to ville.montreal.qc.ca or call 311 for more informatio­n about what municipal services are available.

Recycling, garbage and large-item pickup will run normally in most boroughs. There are some exceptions — check ville.montreal.qc.ca/ infocollec­tes or call 311 for details.

Ecocentres will operate on their regular summer schedule. Go to the environmen­t section of ville.montreal.qc.ca for more informatio­n.

Montreal arenas, indoor swimming pools, sports centres, libraries and cultural venues will operate according to schedules set by boroughs. Check the website of your borough for specific hours.

The Complexe Sportif Claude Robillard is closed Tuesday.

Most retail stores and malls are closed Tuesday.

Pointe à Callière Museum of Archaeolog­y & History is open Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Public markets will be open Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Marché Bonsecours will be open Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Supermarke­t operating hours may vary.

Société des alcools du Québec outlets will be closed Tuesday.

AMT commuter trains will run on an alternate schedule Tuesday. The Vaudreuil-Hudson train, Mont-St-Hilaire and Candiac lines will be closed to allow for maintenanc­e, while the Deux-Montagnes and St-Jérôme lines will offer Sunday service. Go to amt. qc.ca for more details.
