THIS WEEK’S TOP TV TIPS
SUNDAY
Nurse Jackie
It’s the sixth season finale for Nurse Jackie ( Edie Falco) and things are not looking up for our kind-hearted, if addicted, medic. As Zoey ( Merritt Wever) tells Akalitus ( Anne Deavere Smith) that she suspects Jackie may be using drugs again because she almost killed a patient, Jackie hits the road with a suitcase full of pills provided by Eddie ( Paul Schulze) and heads for the airport. After stopping to help with a car accident, she drives off when the paramedics arrive – right into the ambulance, causing the pills in her suitcase to go flying. Not good.

Naked and Afraid
Season two of this reality series, which seems to have captured many people’s imagination, premieres tonight. Each episode follows two strangers – a man and a woman – as they spend 21 days trying to survive on their own (if you ignore the cameramen) in some of the world’s harshest environments. The hook is that they are completely naked, which makes them more susceptible to a lot of things, in addition to cold, heat or rain, such as mosquitoes and ants. The upside is that they are supposed to
Reckless
be survival experts, so they stand a better chance than most of us.
