SUNNY SIGHTS OF SUMMER

-

Ah, the sights and sounds of summer. We spend more time outdoors, that’s for sure.

And we tend to take more photographs of what we see.

From getting out on the lake to watching ducks in the park, the sights of summer capture our imagination and offer us an occasion to take the time to enjoy it all.

This week’s photo of the week is courtesy of Ed Brien who posted a photograph of the kids out boating with dad. What a great way to spend a summer day.

Congratulations.

Also on this page are a few honourable mentions.

THE NEXT THEME: ICE CREAM

Who doesn’t like ice cream? Whether you prefer it in a cone, in a bowl, with cake, or right out of the container, ice cream always seems to hit the spot.

Show us how you enjoy your ice cream. But if you happen to be savouring a Popsicle or other cold treat, we can include that, too.

Send us your best shot.

Please make sure your photos are high-resolution JPEGs.

We will be publishing a collection of photographs that are submitted both online and in the next print edition of the West Island Gazette.

Go to montrealgazette.com. Scroll down the home page until you see the West Island tab. Click on it.

On the West Island page, look for the “Post Your Photos Here” box on the right-hand side. Then, follow the instructions. Send us your best shots.
