Man allegedly beaten, robbed by five teens

A man was robbed, stabbed and severely beaten by five people Thursday night in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, according to police.

Montreal police arrived on the scene shortly after the attack around 9:15 p.m., at the corner of Hochelaga St. and Chambly St. They found the victim, a 25-yearold man, on the ground.

Five suspects, all age 15-17, were arrested shortly after the attack and are awaiting questioning by police.

Authorities said that the victim is expected to survive despite the severity of his injuries.
