10 Dog-friendliness of the neighbourhood, on a scale of 1-10. Almost everyone you see walking around has a dog by their side. Met up with Philip Tabah and Lucy, his Vizsla, in Outremont Park. A Vizsla makes for a fine sporting dog. They are excellent retrievers and pointers. They are also great family dogs; they are loyal, gentle and affectionate. Be warned, though, they are high energy and need a lot of exercise. I was very impressed with how fast Lucy moved and how high she could jump.

Breed: Vizsla

Age: 1.5 years

Owner: Philip Tabah

Neighbourhood: Town of Mount-Royal

Favourite neighbourhood spot to walk in?: Any street is as good as the next in T.M.R., but I love the parks that have wild rabbits. Lucy loves trying to stalk them. The best place to take her is the new dog park next to T.M.R High, though. She needs to run, run, run every day.

What do you love about the neighbourhood?: T.M.R. is green. Every house has a huge maple tree out front and a beautiful park within walking distance. The town is always calm and quiet because of the way the town was designed.
