About Dara: Fred Allard and Jenn Sim adopted Dara, a racing Greyhound, in February 2012. The transition from the fastpaced race world to the more mellow apartment lifestyle wasn’t hard for her to adapt to. Dara is a dream to walk; cohabits with not one, but two cats; and loves to meet new people. The only time I saw Dara get overexcited on our walk was when a motorcycle went by. I could imagine her off-leash racing the motorcycle. What a sight that would be. What do you love about the neighbourhood?: The market being so close by, the interesting mixed bag of people, Rue de Castelnau, the architecture, all the coffee. There are a lot of dog owners and dog people in the area, and loads of parks, a few with closed-in dog parks. Dara makes a lot of human friends around here.
