Bang your head and learn about nature

- Compiled by Lisa Monforton

Put a little love — of the bighorn sheep kind — into your calendar in November, for a weekend escape. The Village of Radium Hot Springs, B.C., holds its annual Headbanger Festival — a reference to the season of rutting action when male bighorn sheep lock horns in the name of love. From Nov. 5 to 6, local wildlife enthusiasts hold a series of fun and educational events that aim to inform people about the habits of local bighorn sheep.
