Married to defenceman Jonathan Blum, formerly of the Nashville Predators and Minnesota Wild and currently playing in Russian: Based in California, Blum is a former military intelligence specialist who’s devoted to animal rescues. As the season opens, she’s expecting her first child.

ERICA LUNDMARK

Married to forward Jamie Lundmark, who’s played in New York, Phoenix, L.A., Calgary, Toronto, Italy, Sweden, Russia and Austria: Raising three kids and running her own real-estate firm, she may hit the wall if she succeeds in doubling her business.

MARIPIER MORIN

Engaged to winger Brandon Prust, formerly of the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens, now playing in Germany: After a romantic engagement in season 2, he was traded to Vancouver, and when he went west, their relationship went south. He’s now a free agent while she’s landed her own talk show.

CATHERINE LAFLAMME

Married to Pittsburgh Penguins defenceman Kris Letang: Fresh from a Stanley Cup win, the mother of three-year-old son Alexander met her husband in high school. Two years ago, he suffered a stroke and last year, she suffered a miscarriage. This season, she’s starting a children’s clothing line.

MARTINE AUCLAIR VLASIC

Married to the San Jose Sharks defenceman Marc-Edouard Vlasic: Lifelong hockey fanatic Martine gets involved with a San Jose dog rescue — a cause that’s close to her heart. Even though the couple are content with the three “kids” they already have, dogs Macy, Nikki and Kelly, she feels pressured to have a baby.

VANESSA VANDAL

Girlfriend to St. Louis Blues winger David Perron: Mom to baby Mason, Vanessa moves back to St. Louis, where she first met David. She’ll need a little help from her friends as she plans to finish her education and launch a career in interior design.
