She does not have a car and has been having more and more health problems recently, which makes it harder for her to get her errands done. She speaks French.

A Pointe-Claire man in his late 50s would like a volunteer to socialize with and to get him out of his apartment. He has COPD and pain in his knee due to arthritis, which reduces his mobility. He has a passion for music, specifical­ly the guitar. A senior Dollard woman, originally

from Egypt, would like a female volunteer to visit with her or to take her out from time to time for a coffee or a movie. She recently lost her husband and is feeling lonely and isolated and would appreciate the company. She speaks English and French.

A Lachine man in his late 30s who lives with Huntington’s disease would like a volunteer who can take him out from time to time. He uses a cane and his speech is slurred but it doesn’t prevent him from being able to interact with people. He loves movies but has not been to the theatre in a very long time and would love to be able to go. He likes to go for walks and play cards as well.

A Pierrefond­s man in his 30s, living with schizophre­nia, would appreciate a volunteer who could socialize with him and drive him to local medical appointmen­ts from time to time at the Stillview clinic. He has varied interests and is easy to get along with. A francophon­e woman living in

Ste-Geneviève in her 70s would benefit from being matched with a female volunteer to play cards with and/or to help with small errands every once in a while. She is having trouble with her memory lately and has recently fallen a few times, which has made her more anxious about leaving her residence without help. A woman in Beaconsfie­ld would

benefit from being matched with a female volunteer. She recently lost her grandson and would like visits and outings to take her mind off of it. She would particular­ly love to go for short walks around the neighbourh­ood. She speaks English and French.
