Formula E race, fireworks to close roads

Here are some road closures coming up in Montreal this weekend.

VILLE-MARIE EXPRESSWAY

Complete closure of Viger Ave. and the Ville-Marie going west, between de Lorimier Ave. and the entrance of Lucien-L’Allier St., until Monday at 5 a.m. for the Formula E race this weekend.

Motorists can use detours going north on de Lorimier, west on de Maisonneuv­e Blvd., north on St-Laurent Blvd., south on Metcalfe St., west on St-Antoine St., and west at the Lucien-L’Allier entrance to the Ville-Marie going west.

Exit No. 7, at the JacquesCar­tier Bridge, and Exit No. 6, at Berri St., will also be closed until early Monday.

JACQUES CARTIER BRIDGE

Complete closure of the bridge in both directions for fireworks on Saturday from 8:30 to 11:45 p.m.

ST-PIERRE INTERCHANG­E

Complete closure of the ramp from Highway 138 going east (Mercier Bridge) onto Highway 20 going east toward downtown from Friday night until Monday morning.

Motorists can take detours using the ramp onto Highway 20 going west, Richmond St., 1st Ave., Montreal-Toronto Blvd., St-Joseph Blvd., Notre-Dame St., Angrignon Blvd. and Highway 20 going east.

TURCOT INTERCHANG­E

Complete closure of the ramp on Highway 15 going south (toward Décarie) for Route 136 east from Friday night to Monday morning.

Complete closure of the ramp for Highway 20 going east (toward downtown) from Friday night to Monday morning.

From Friday night to Saturday morning, motorists can take detours on Highway 15 going south, using Exit 61 for Atwater Ave., St-Jacques St., Robert-Bourassa Blvd. and StAntoine St.

From Saturday to Monday morning, motorists can take detours for the Ville-Marie Expressway going east using Highway 15 south, Highway 10 west (toward Bonaventur­e), Duke St. or St-Antoine St.

The entrances for Route 720 east (Ville-Marie tunnel) at Notre-Dame and de la Cathédrale Sts. will remain open.
