YOUR HOROSCOPE

Birthday Guy: Actor Wesley Snipes was born in Orlando, Fla., on this day in 1962. This birthday guy starred in the title role of the “Blade” franchise. His other film work includes “The Expendables 3,” “Demolition Man,” and “New Jack City.” He also starred as Mr. Johnson in the short-lived 2015 series “The Player.” Snipes will next star with Anne Heche in the upcoming horror movie, “Armed Response,” due out later this year.

Aries (March 21-April 19): Melt hard hearts. Exert some warmth and kindness to thaw even the chilliest situation. Have faith that a nagging financial problem can be cured, and that the advice you receive from loved ones will be beneficial.

Taurus (April 20-May 20): Your creative faculties may be performing inner pushups. You might find that the challenge of dealing with family

matters or home based issues helps you become more imaginative about finding useful solutions.

Gemini (May 21-June 20): You are known by the company you keep. When you choose your companions based on the lowest level of standards you shouldn’t be surprised when they don’t live up to your expectations or their commitments.

Cancer (June 21-July 22): Love people for who they are, not for who you wish they would be. Minor misunderstandings could undermine your best efforts.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): You have your finger on the trigger and you are poised and ready to shoot. The presence of Mars in your sign may encourage you to display your executive abilities.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Nothing cures a fantasy faster than a strong dose of reality. If you concentrate on using logic and listen to your peer group, you can remain focused on what is most important. Relationships might briefly seem confusing.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Maintain your forward momentum, but don’t start anything new. Attractive gadgets and whatnots that draw your interest can put a dent in your wallet. Put your wants on a wish list and wait for a better time to spend money.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Rash behavior and conflict can receive publicity. Don’t become the subject of gossip by voicing strong opinions. This is one of the days when going along with the crowd will be the most beneficial tactic.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): You may feel bound by convention and held back by commitments. Discussions

may zigzag away from the point, or otherwise go astray, so steer clear of conversations or projects that require precision.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You have the capacity to see past an illusion to arrive at a solution. Others might throw up a smoke screen if you push too hard to come to terms with them now. Stay in control of an ongoing situation.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): You might be pumped up to act as a competitor when seeking a congenial compromise is the much better strategy. You may find it difficult to discuss your financial resources or to focus on contract terms.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20): Actions speak louder than words. Other people may misunderstand your kindheartedness and think you are a pushover. It is a good idea to be very clear and concise. Describe your meaning in big block letters.

if July 31 is your birthday: Use the extra enthusiasm at your disposal to conquer physical challenges as the next two to three weeks unfold. Material ambitions may turn you into a busy bee in September and October. With your head for business and imagination, you can achieve your fondest dreams. Late October is a good time to make financial decisions or to launch a new enterprise. November offers you the support and opportunity to make some of your most valuable dreams come true. Try not to make career changes or upgrade your relationship status in January when you might be challenged to sustain a commitment. Your heart may be willing, but circumstances could offer an alternative solution.
