Plenty of road closures in city this weekend
Here’s a look at this weekend’s road closures in Montreal.
HIGHWAY 20
Complete closure of Highway 20 west between Exit 67 (Angrignon Blvd.) and the St-Pierre Interchange (the entrance to 1st Ave.) between midnight Friday and 5 a.m. Monday. A detour will be set up along Notre Dame St. W. and St-Pierre Ave.
Complete closure of the ramp from Highway 20 West (coming from downtown) to Highway 138 (toward the Mercier Bridge) between midnight Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.
TURCOT INTERCHANGE
Closure of the ramp from Highway 720 West (Ville-Marie) onto Highway 20 West (toward Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport) between midnight Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.
Closure of the ramp from Highway 20 West to Highway 15 South (toward the Champlain Bridge) during the same hours.
HIGHWAY 15
Partial closure — two out of three lanes — on Highway 15 South, between the Turcot Interchange and Atwater Ave., between midnight Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.
Closure of Exit 62 (De la Vérendrye Blvd.) off Highway 15 South, also between midnight Friday and 5 a.m. Monday. The entrance from De la Vérendrye Blvd. to Highway 15 (north and south) will be closed during the same hours.
HIGHWAY 136
Complete closure of Exit 2 (Atwater Ave.) from Highway 720 East between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.
JACQUES CARTIER BRIDGE
Major work scheduled to be done on the Mercier viaduct, at the south approach to the Jacques Cartier Bridge, will involve the closure of the Highway 134 access ramp to the bridge as well as the same highway’s east access ramp to Highways 20 and 132. Also, a complete closure of the bridge is scheduled late Monday night, beginning at 11 p.m., to replace a brace. It will reopen Tuesday morning.
In Longueuil, the eastbound section of Taschereau Blvd. will be closed between La Fayette Blvd. and the entrance to Place CharlesLe Moyne between 10 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.
HIGHWAY 25
Closure of Exit 5 (Sherbrooke St.) between 10 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.
ST-JACQUES ST.
Complete closure of the westbound section of St. Jacques St., between de Courcelle and St-Remi Sts. underneath Highway 720, from 5 a.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday.
