Seniors must be respected, valued

Re: “Wrongful deaths of seniors amount to little compensation for loved ones” (Wanda Morris, Oct. 10)

It is a sad testimony to our society that the wrongful death of a senior loved one is seen to have little consequence in the eyes of the courts.

Seniors need to be respected and valued. Instead, our society seems to value money, the potential to make money and consumerism. Franceen Goodman Finesilver, Côte-St-Luc
