A referendum on roof’s fate?

Re: “Quebec to spend at least $200M on new Big O roof” (Montreal Gazette, Nov. 10)

The Olympic Stadium has had its day and the time has come for a referendum on the financing of this money pit.

Politicians would like you to believe this white elephant is historical in nature, but nothing could be further from the truth.

The Snowdon Theatre and other such buildings deserve funding for restoration; the Olympic Stadium is not one of them.

No more money for a roof or any other project concerning this building.
