Valérie Plante PM Mayor of Montreal and mayor of Ville-Marie borough First elected in 2013 Responsible for international relations, downtown Montreal and Mount Royal
A city councillor in Ville-Marie borough for one term before being elected mayor of Montreal. Leader of Projet Montréal since December 2016. Prior to her career in municipal politics she worked for community organizations, including the Girls Action Foundation.
Luc Ferrandez PM Mayor of Plateau-Mont-Royal borough
First elected in 2009 Responsible for large parks, sustainable development, green spaces and large projects
Former leader of Projet Montréal, he worked as a management consultant and communications director and environmental researcher prior to his political career.
Jean-François Parenteau EDC Mayor of Verdun borough First elected in 2013 Responsible for citizen services, supplies and the environment
A member of Denis Coderre’s party, but agreed to Projet Montréal’s request he sit as an independent to be on the executive committee. He served as an associate member during the last mandate with the responsibility for water. Previous to politics, he was the owner of an orthopedics supply store.
Benoit Dorais PM Mayor of Sud-Ouest borough First elected in 2009 President of the executive committee, responsible for finance, human resources, corporate communications, legal affairs and municipal evaluations
Formerly part of then-Bloc Québécois MP Thierry St-Cyr’s staff. Served as chairman of the committee on social development and diversity. Formerly part of Coalition Montreal, he joined Projet Montréal in May.
Nathalie Goulet PM City councillor for Ahuntsic (Ahuntsic-Cartierville) First elected in 2017 Responsible for public security
Goulet worked since 2002 as director of the Conseil d’intervention pour l’accès des femmes au travail, a Quebec organization that supports women in the workplace.
Sophie Mauzerolle PM City councillor for SainteMarie (Ville-Marie) First elected in 2017 Associate member to the mayor
She previously worked as a manager with the city of Montreal focusing on public policy.
Magda Popeanu PM City councillor for Côte-desNeiges (Côte-des-Neiges– Notre-Dame-de-Grâce) First elected in 2013 Vice-president of the executive committee, responsible for housing, real estate planning and management as well as Montreal’s diversity
Popeanu served as chair of the borough’s urban planning committee. Previously, she was an engineer and teacher, and served as president of Projet Montréal from 2007 to 2010
Robert Beaudry PM City councillor for SaintJacques (Ville-Marie) First elected in 2017 Responsible for economic and commercial development and government relations
Beaudry worked for nearly 15 years in social development in downtown Montreal, including in programs designed to find work for homeless people, or help aged people who were homeless or on the verge.
Alex Norris PM City councillor for JeanneMance (Plateau-Mont-Royal) First elected in 2009 Associate member responsible for public security
Norris was vice-president of the standing committee on public security in the last mandate. Prior to politics, he worked for 16 years as a journalist at the Montreal Gazette.
Sylvain Ouellet PM City councillor for François-Perrault (Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension) First elected in 2013 Vice-president of the executive committee, responsible for infrastructure, water and waterworks infrastructure, and the committee on electrical services
Served as Projet Montréal critic on water and sustainable development. He has degrees in administration and transportation.
Rosannie Filato PM City councillor for Villeray (Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension)
First elected in 2017 Responsible for social and community development, homelessness, youth, sports and recreation
Filato worked previously as a labour lawyer.
Marianne Giguère PM City councillor for De Lorimier (Plateau-Mont-Royal) First elected in 2013 Associate member responsible for sustainable development and active transport
A borough councillor for Plateau-Mont-Royal until this past election. She was the party spokesperson on pedestrian and cycling issues, as well as greening of the urban environment. Prior to municipal politics, she worked as a pedagogical councillor.
Éric Alan Caldwell PM City councillor for Hochelaga (Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve)
First elected in 2013 Responsible for urban affairs, transport and Montreal’s public consultation office
Before becoming a city councillor, he worked at the Montreal Casino and has degrees in cinematography and economics.
François William Croteau PM Mayor of the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie borough First elected in 2009 Responsible for smart city, information technologies and innovation
Croteau, who has an MBA and is working toward his PhD in urban governance, worked as a researcher in the department of sustainable development at UQAM, and a lecturer in the university’s MBA program.
Craig Sauvé PM City councillor for SaintHenri-Est–Petite-Bourgogne– Pointe-Saint-Charles–Griffintown (Sud-Ouest)
First elected in 2013 Associate member responsible for citizens and mobility
A former political organizer for Projet Montréal and the NDP, and an aide to cabinet for the opposition. Was on the standing committee on transport and public works and the governance committee, and served as transportation critic.
Christine Gosselin PM City councillor for Vieux-Rosemont (Rosemont–La-PetitePatrie)
First elected in 2013 Responsible for culture, heritage and design
Prior to her 2013 election she worked for the party, including as chief of staff. Trained as a teacher, she operated a number of small businesses, including a language school.
Laurence Lavigne Lalonde PM City councillor for Maisonneuve–Longue-Pointe (Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve) First elected in 2009 Responsible for transparency, democracy and civic life
Has a masters in international development and management of social projects. Opposition critic for economic development and vice-president of standing committee on finance and administration.
Suzie Miron PM City councillor for Tétreaultville (Mercier-HochelagaMaisonneuve)
First elected in 2017 Associate member responsible for infrastructure
Previously she was responsible for the party’s women’s committee for five years and active in local sports associations.
