CARE FOR THE GRIEVING
Thanks to the efforts of Stéfany Corey, left, Désirée McGraw, Annick Robinson and Rosa Caporicci, the Royal Victoria Hospital of the McGill University Health Centre has its first cuddle cot. The cooling units help preserve the bodies of babies who die before or after birth to prolong the precious time families can spend with the children they will never get to bring home. The specialized bassinets are common in the United Kingdom, but this is the first one in Quebec.
