Turcot and Champlain closures on tap

-

It’s double trouble for motorists, as both the Turcot Interchange and Champlain Bridge projects will cause numerous road closures.

CAVENDISH BLVD.

All northbound traffic will be blocked on Cavendish Blvd. between St-Jacques and Sherbrooke St. W. starting at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

City crews will repair a leaking water main, but one lane will reopen later Friday, depending on how quickly crews stop the leak.

TURCOT INTERCHANGE

The Turcot work will force the closure of most of the westbound Ville-Marie Expressway from the Robert Bourassa Blvd. exit downtown to the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Blvd. entrance in the Montreal West Interchange. The closure will start at 11:59 p.m. Friday and last until 5 a.m. Monday. The eastbound Ville-Marie will also be closed between the Turcot Interchange and the De La Cathédrale St. entrance.

The Décarie Expressway entrance to Highway 20 West will be closed, as will the entrance to Highway 20 West from northbound Highway 15. The eastbound Highway 20 entrance to the Décarie Expressway will also be closed. Also closed will be Glen Rd. in Westmount, between St-Antoine and Ste-Catherine Sts.

DÉCARIE/METROPOLITAIN EXPRESSWAYS

Repairs to the ramp leading from the northbound Décarie Expressway to Highway 40 West and Marcel Laurin Blvd. will see closure from 11 p.m. Saturday until 2 p.m. Sunday.

ROUTE 132 NEAR THE CHAMPLAIN BRIDGE

From 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday, the eastbound Route 132 at Exit 53, until the following entrance will be closed, as will westbound 132 between Exit 76 and the following entrance. The ramp leading to Route 132 from Highway 10 will also be closed.
