Beastie Boys tease unreleased songs

The surviving members of Beastie Boys have hinted at future album releases with hours of previously unheard material. Adam Horovitz (a.k.a. Ad-Rock) and Michael Diamond (a.k.a. Mike D) haven’t performed under the group’s name since the death of Adam Yauch (a.k.a. MCA) in 2012. “We had our studio, G-Son, and we would play there every day, recorded everything, so we have like, 100 hours of all of that,” Horovitz said Tuesday on the Today show. He stopped short of revealing specific plans for the material, which is locked in a vault in Los Angeles.
