Drouin, Juliette (nee Boisvert) passed away peacefully in her 89th year on Sunday April 26, 2020 after a brief illness. She was born on November 30, 1930 in Sillery Quebec to Atha Alexander and Charles Boisvert. After a courtship that began on a neighborhood ice skating rink, Julie married Max Drouin in 1951 and followed him to Peterborough and Toronto as he started his engineering career. They moved back to Quebec City and later to Montreal to raise their family of three daughters. Julie had a charming personality, a great sense of humor, and fun loving attitude. She was an empathetic soul who always treated people with respect, kindness and consideration. A continuous learner with a keen appreciation for beauty and a great sense of style, she took up and excelled at oil painting. For many years she also enjoyed golfing with her husband both in Montreal and Florida. Her presence will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren. She will be adored and forever loved for the exceptional mother and person she was. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 69 years Max, a retired VP of General Electric Canada. She is also survived by her children Louise (Lawson), Susan (Ishai), Anne (Philip) and grandchildren Max, and Kate. A celebration of Julie's life will be held at a date to be determined later at Collins Clarke Macgillivray White Funeral Home 222, Autoroute 20, Pointe-claire.
