Section of Highway 20 closed all weekend

Major roadway closures scheduled for this weekend:

HIGHWAY 20

A large section of eastbound Highway 20 leading into downtown Montreal is closed for the weekend beginning Thursday night. The section includes the Turcotte Interchang­e and the entrances to Notre Dame W. and de la Cathédrale Sts. in the Ville-marie Tunnel. It will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday. Beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, the westbound section of Highway 20 will be closed between the Turcot Interchang­e and St-pierre Ave. Detours will also be provided but the westbound closure of the highway will include the connection between Highway 15 and Highway 20 toward Lachine and Dorval. It will also reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.

JACQUES CARTIER BRIDGE

Beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, the bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Exits to St. Laurent and Ste. Hélène Sts. will be closed. Lanes reopen Monday afternoon.

HIGHWAY 40

Exit 60 for Highway 40 westbound (which connects motorists to Highway 13 in the St-laurent borough) will be closed as of Friday at 11 p.m. It will reopen at 9 a.m. on Sunday. A section of the Highway 40 service road on the approach to the exit will be closed as well.

RÉSEAU EXPRESS MÉTROPOLIT­AIN

Work on the light rail system will force the closure of Gaétanlabe­rge Blvd. between Hickson St. and Highway 10 (the Bonaventur­e). Exit 4 on the Bonaventur­e eastbound will be closed as well.

ST. PATRICK ST.

A section of St. Patrick St., underneath Highway 15. will be closed during the weekend between de l’église Ave. and Chabot St.
