LANDERS, Denise nee Brassard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Denise Landers on June 16, 2020 at home, surrounded by her close family after a long battle with cancer. Born and raised in Cap-de-la-madeleine, QC. Then moved to Montreal when she married William (Bill), to whom she was married for 47 wonderful years. Amazing mother of Karen (Alain) and Sandra (Mathieu) and selfless grandmother of Melissa, Alexandre, Tyler, Jesse and Mason. Family was always the most important thing in her life. Denise loved spending time with her family, most especially her 5 grandchildren. Denise loved beaches and was able to take vacations in almost every beach in North America. She was an excellent cook and loved baking. Denise also loved music and attended many concerts, including Bon Jovi, The Eagles, INXS, The Rolling Stones, and Celine Dion. She was also an avid Boston Bruins fan. A lot of Denise’s daughters’ friends called her their" second Mom," which is a testament to how loving and accepting she was. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Nova West Island, who gave her exceptional care during her ordeal. The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, only the immediate family will be in attendance.
