SOCKETT, Pamela (née Elliott)

July 17, 1939 - June 26, 2020

Peacefully, on June 26, with family by her side. Daughter of the late Robert Elliott and the late Muriel Mcculloch. Loving wife of the late Robert Sockett. Dear mother to Jill, cherished mother-in-law of Robert Royal. Adoring grandmother to Thomas and Daniel.

Pam leaves to mourn her sister Norma Graham, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A long-time resident of Dorval, Pam moved to the Residence Belvédères de Lachine in 2018; a life change she welcomed and often referred to 'as like being on a vacation'. Pam spent the last few weeks of her life living with her daughter, enjoying the warm spring weather, flower gardens, and neighbouring cats, surrounded by the love of her family and close friends.

She will be forever remembered for her independence, courage and strength, and her beautiful smile.

Arrangements entrusted to J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home. A simple celebration of life will be held at a later date in keeping with the pandemic and public health restrictions.
