Get ready for shutdown of Highway 20 West

-

Highway disruptions to look out for this weekend:

TURCOT INTERCHANGE, HIGHWAY 20 & ROUTE 136

Highway 20 westbound will be closed between the Turcot and Stpierre interchanges from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Vehicles will be detoured via Highway 15 north, Highway 520 west, and Highway 13 south. Vehicles headed toward the Mercier Bridge can take Notre-dame St., St-pierre Ave., St-patrick St. and Clément St. to Route 138.

Highway 20 eastbound will be down to two lanes out of three between Ste-anne-de-bellevue and Angrignon Blvds. (Exit 65) from Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. The reserve lanes will be closed between the St-pierre and Turcot interchanges in both directions.

The exit from Highway 15 northbound to Route 136 East (formerly Highway 720) towards downtown will be closed as well from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Along Route 136 East, Exit 4 (de la Montagne St. and St-jacques St.) remains closed until the spring of 2022. Detour is via Exit 6 (Berri St. and St-laurent Blvd.), Exit 2 (Atwater Ave.) or Exit 3 (Guy St.).

SAMUEL-DE CHAMPLAIN BRIDGE

Route 132 in Brossard will be closed westbound underneath the Samuel-de Champlain bridge, and down to one lane eastbound, from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

The bridge itself will be down to one lane toward Montreal on Saturday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and toward the South Shore on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

DORVAL INTERCHANGE

Ongoing work in the Dorval roundabout means Highway 20 remains closed until the spring in both directions between Exit 56 (Highway 520, Dorval Ave.) and the following entrance, and westbound Highway 520 between Exit 1-E (Cardinal Ave.) and the Dorval circle. The roundabout is closed under the deck bridges of Highway 20, however parts of the roundabout remain open to allow eastbound and westbound passage.

HIGHWAY 40

The Île-aux-tourtes Bridge will be down to one lane out of three heading west, between Senneville and Vaudreuil-dorion, from 8:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

ROUTE 125

The Pie-ix/route 125 Bridge remains down to one lane in either direction until Feb. 8.
