The featured book this month is A House in the Sky by Amanda Lindhout. Lindhout’s memoir documents her life beginning in Alberta and continues in Afghanistan, Iraq and various other places. The memoir concludes Lindhout’s harrowing experience of being held captive in Somalia for 460 days. Copies are available on a first-come-first-served basis from the Library for anyone wishing to take part in the discussion. Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.
