The featured book this month is A House in the Sky by Amanda Lindhout. Lindhout’s memoir documents her life beginning in Alberta and continues in Afghanista­n, Iraq and various other places. The memoir concludes Lindhout’s harrowing experience of being held captive in Somalia for 460 days. Copies are available on a first-come-first-served basis from the Library for anyone wishing to take part in the discussion. Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.
