Bra Necessities opens in Moose Jaw
A new boutique that specializes in finding the perfect and most comfortable bras for women, Bra Necessities, officially opened its new location in Moose Jaw, located downtown at 49 High Street W. When mother-daughter team, Connie Turre and Kim Lindballe opened Bra Necessities in Camrose, Alberta seven (7) years ago, they set out to open other locations that had a strong downtown district. The duo chose Moose Jaw which they say has a “strong business district and a population that needs this type of expertise” in finding comfortable bras for any body type. Bra Necessities carries the best bra brands in all cups sizes A to L and band sizes 28 to 54.
Not only does this boutique provide comfort and style for women searching for the perfect bra but they also carry one of the best brands in underwear for men—the SAXX brand, as well as gifts and accessories, various men’s wear, swim wear and intimates. Some of their featured brands are: PrimaDonna, Chantelle, SAXX, Barefoot, Eccola and many others!
Kim says Moose Jaw is the perfect place to launch their second store. “We opened Bra Necessities in Camrose, Alberta in 2010 and additional locations have always been a goal of ours. This year, we came to Moose Jaw, our second location and we are really excited to be here. The community has been so welcoming and we’ve been super well-received and it’s just great,” said Kim.
She says there was a need to offer this type of service in Moose Jaw and surrounding communities. “One of the reasons we chose Moose Jaw is because we were looking for somewhere that was similar to Camrose where it has a really strong downtown boutique district and there was a need with a big enough population here and in surrounding communities. There was a need for this boutique that specializes in bra fittings. Bra shopping is one of the hardest things to do for women so we feel good to bring our ex- pertise to the city. That’s why we chose Moose Jaw for our second location. It has become a second home for us.” Even though Bra Necessities specializes in bra fittings and finding the perfect bra for any occasion, the boutique offers much more. They carry a top brand of underwear for men, SAXX as well as the perfect gifts, especially suited for the upcoming holiday season. They were recently recognized by the lingerie industry as the best retailer for the SAXX brand. “We are much more than a bra store. We have sleepwear; many gifts like bath & body products. We recently won an award in the lingerie industry for the best SAXX retailer. We’ve built the brand at Bra Necessities in Camrose so we’re really excited to bring it to Moose Jaw, as well as on a grand scale. We have lots of styles in the SAXX brand like the men’s lounge pants that launched this holiday season.”
At Bra Necessities, bra fitting consultations are free. “Anyone can come in and we can size them. We have over a dozen different brands that are European which is great quality. We take our customers through the fitting process and make recommendations based on what they are looking for to fit in with a wardrobe or just general information. That’s our main service but we do offer other expertise like the type of under garments to wear with different wardrobes for various occasions.
